Quick and flavorful birria-style tacos made with ground beef, ready in just 15 minutes and served with a rich dipping broth.


Ingredients

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add olive oil and ground beef, cook until browned.
  3. Stir in garlic, tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour in beef broth and simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Dip tortillas lightly in the broth.
  6. Add beef and cheese to tortillas.
  7. Fold tacos and cook until crispy on both sides.
  8. Top with onion and cilantro.
  9. Serve with remaining broth for dipping.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated cheese for better melting.
  • Do not overfill tacos to keep them easy to handle.
  • Keep broth warm for dipping.
