Description

Warm, soft flatbread stuffed with tender apples and cozy cinnamon, cooked until golden and comforting.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and finely diced
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, warm water, and olive oil. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough lightly until smooth, then cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the diced apples with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice until evenly coated.
  4. Divide the dough into equal balls and roll each one into a thin round.
  5. Spoon the apple mixture onto one half of each round, leaving a small border.
  6. Fold the dough over the filling and press the edges to seal.
  7. Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly brush with oil.
  8. Cook each stuffed flatbread for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  9. Remove from the pan, let rest briefly, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Dice the apples finely so they cook evenly inside the flatbread.
  • Keep the heat at medium to avoid burning the bread.
  • Serve warm for the best texture and flavor.
