Description

Ingredients

  • 4 large plain bagels, cut into cubes
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Spread bagel cubes evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Add cooked sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, and sliced green onions over the bagels.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the ingredients.
  6. Bake for about 40 minutes until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
  7. Allow the casserole to rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
