Description

A cozy, spiced cider with a fragrant twist. Batch Earl’s Cider blends apple cider, Earl Grey tea, and warming spices into a drink that’s both comforting and elegant.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1 Earl Grey tea bag
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 34 thin apple slices
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine apple cider, cinnamon stick, apple slices, and sweetener.
  2. Heat over medium until steaming, but not boiling.
  3. Remove from heat and add the Earl Grey tea bag.
  4. Steep for 3–4 minutes, then remove the tea bag and cinnamon stick.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired.
  6. Ladle into mugs and garnish with fresh rosemary or more apple slices.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • Do not boil the tea to prevent bitterness.
  • Use fresh, unfiltered apple cider for the richest flavor.
  • Garnish right before serving to preserve freshness.
  • Make a large batch and store in jars for later.
