Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium raw beets, peeled and chopped
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, peeled
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)


Instructions

  1. Add chopped beets, ginger, lemon juice, water, and maple syrup (if using) into a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Place a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth over a bowl and strain the mixture, pressing to extract the juice.
  4. Stir the juice, taste, and adjust with more lemon or syrup if needed.
  5. Pour into shot glasses and chill before serving.
