  • 810 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or simple syrup
  • ½ cup club soda
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 1½ ounces white rum (optional)
  • Blood orange slices and mint sprigs (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Chill your glass in the freezer for a few minutes.
  2. In the glass, gently muddle the mint leaves with sugar or simple syrup.
  3. Add the lime juice and blood orange juice.
  4. Fill the glass with crushed ice.

Notes

  • Use fresh juice for the best flavor and vibrant color.
  • Adjust sweetness to taste with more or less syrup.
  • Make a big batch in advance for parties, but add soda and ice just before serving.
  • Turn into a mocktail by omitting the rum and adding extra soda.
