- 8–10 fresh mint leaves
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon sugar or simple syrup
- ½ cup club soda
- 1 cup crushed ice
- 1½ ounces white rum (optional)
- Blood orange slices and mint sprigs (for garnish)
Instructions
- Chill your glass in the freezer for a few minutes.
- In the glass, gently muddle the mint leaves with sugar or simple syrup.
- Add the lime juice and blood orange juice.
- Fill the glass with crushed ice.
- Pour in the rum if using.
- Top with club soda and gently stir to combine.
- Garnish with a blood orange slice and mint sprig.
