Ingredients

  • Dark Chocolate (70% cocoa): 200g, melted for the mousse base.
  • Cadbury Flake Bars: 4 bars, crumbled into mousse and for garnish.
  • Eggs: 3 large, separated to aerate the mousse.
  • Caster Sugar: 60g, to stabilize egg whites and sweeten.
  • Double Cream: 300ml, whipped for mousse fluffiness.
  • Vanilla Extract: 1 tsp, enhances chocolate flavor.
  • Pinch of Salt: for balance in the crust.


Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Chill a mixing bowl and make space in your fridge.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Mix crushed biscuits with melted butter, press into tart tin, and chill for 30 minutes.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Melt dark chocolate gently and let cool slightly.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Whip cream, beat egg whites with sugar to stiff peaks, fold cream and whites into chocolate, stir in half the Flake.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Pour mousse into chilled crust, smooth top, sprinkle remaining Flake.
