- 1 box (18–20 oz) Brownie Mix
- 2 large Eggs (for brownie layer)
- 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
- 2 tablespoons Water
- 24 oz Cream Cheese (3 blocks)
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 3 large Eggs (for cheesecake layer)
- 1/2 cup Caramel Sauce (plus more for drizzling)
- Pinch of Salt
- Whipped Cream (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Wrap springform pan in foil and grease the inside.
- Prepare brownie batter by mixing brownie mix, eggs, oil, and water. Pour into pan and bake for 20 minutes. Let cool slightly.
- Set up water bath with a roasting pan and boil water.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth, then add sugar, sour cream, vanilla, and salt. Beat in eggs one at a time. Pour over brownie layer and swirl in caramel.
- Place pan in roasting pan, add hot water halfway up sides. Bake for 55–65 minutes until center is slightly jiggly.
- Cool in oven with door ajar for 1 hour, then chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Drizzle with caramel and garnish with whipped cream. Slice with a hot knife and serve chilled.
