Description

This Cheddar, Egg & Spinach Bake is a cozy, cheesy, and nutrient-packed dish perfect for breakfast, brunch, or meal prep. Loaded with fresh spinach, sharp cheddar, and fluffy eggs, it’s a feel-good classic you’ll make again and again.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 large eggs
  • 5 cups fresh spinach, roughly chopped
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the spinach until wilted, about 2–3 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheddar and sautéed spinach.
  5. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and smooth out the top.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the center is set and the top is golden.
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Use freshly shredded cheese for better melt and flavor.
  • Frozen spinach works too, just make sure to squeeze out all the moisture.
  • Customize with herbs, mushrooms, or different cheeses for variety.
