- 1 loaf French bread, halved lengthwise
- 1/2 lb (225g) shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add chopped shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2–3 minutes until just pink. Remove from heat.
- In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, mozzarella, cheddar, cooked shrimp, and parsley.
- Spread the mixture evenly over the bread halves.
- Place bread on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Optionally broil for 1–2 minutes for extra golden top.
- Slice and serve warm.
