Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (8-count) Cinnamon Rolls, baked and cooled
- 2 Eggs
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon Butter or Oil for cooking
- Optional: Glaze, Maple Syrup, or Powdered Sugar for topping
Instructions
- Bake cinnamon rolls according to package instructions and let cool. Cut each into quarters or sixths.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon together.
- Add cinnamon roll pieces to egg mixture and soak briefly, about 1–2 minutes.
- Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add soaked pieces in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and crisp.
- Remove from pan and drizzle with glaze or syrup. Serve warm.
Notes
- Don’t oversoak the pieces—they should be coated, not soggy.
- Add extra cinnamon to the custard for deeper spice.
- Great with cream cheese glaze or a dash of powdered sugar.
