Description

Crispy outside, soft inside, and bursting with cinnamon swirl, these Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites are a dreamy mash-up of two breakfast favorites—perfect for brunch or a fun morning treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8-count) Cinnamon Rolls, baked and cooled
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Butter or Oil for cooking
  • Optional: Glaze, Maple Syrup, or Powdered Sugar for topping

Instructions

  1. Bake cinnamon rolls according to package instructions and let cool. Cut each into quarters or sixths.
  2. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon together.
  3. Add cinnamon roll pieces to egg mixture and soak briefly, about 1–2 minutes.
  4. Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add soaked pieces in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and crisp.
  6. Remove from pan and drizzle with glaze or syrup. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Don’t oversoak the pieces—they should be coated, not soggy.
  • Add extra cinnamon to the custard for deeper spice.
  • Great with cream cheese glaze or a dash of powdered sugar.
