Description

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet and sear the chicken for 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
  6. Stir in the Dijon mustard and chicken broth, mixing well.
  7. Add the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  8. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes until cooked through and the sauce thickens.
  9. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.
