Description

This creamy garlic beef pasta combines tender strips of seared beef with a rich garlic parmesan sauce tossed over pasta shells for a comforting, flavor-packed meal that’s ready in under 40 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef sirloin or ribeye, thinly sliced
  • 12 ounces pasta shells or penne
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 5 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup reserved pasta water

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta until al dente, then reserve 1/4 cup of the pasta water and drain.
  2. Season the beef with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the beef in batches until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 3 minutes. Stir in the parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet and add the cooked pasta. Add a splash of the reserved pasta water and stir until everything is well coated.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use room-temperature beef for better searing results.
  • Grate cheese fresh for a creamier sauce.
  • Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for a veggie boost.
  • Reheat leftovers gently with a splash of milk or cream.
