A rich and comforting creamy red pesto spaghetti with a silky sauce and bold tomato flavor.
Ingredients

- 300 grams spaghetti
- 4 tablespoons red pesto
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 50 grams parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh basil, small handful
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Cook spaghetti until al dente and reserve some pasta water.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add red pesto and warm gently.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir until smooth.
- Add cooked spaghetti and toss to coat.
- Mix in parmesan, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Serve immediately while warm.
Notes
- Reserve pasta water for adjusting sauce consistency
- Do not overheat cream to prevent splitting
- Use freshly grated cheese for best flavor
