- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup chopped nuts (almonds, pecans, or walnuts)
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup coconut flakes
- 1/3 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix oats, nuts, seeds, coconut flakes, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk maple syrup, melted coconut oil, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until evenly coated.
- Spread the granola evenly on the baking sheet and press down slightly.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through without stirring.
- Let it cool completely on the baking sheet for maximum crunch.
- Break into clusters and store in an airtight container.
Notes
- Don’t stir during baking if you want large clusters.
- Add dried fruit only after baking to prevent burning.
- Let it cool fully before storing to maintain crispiness.
