A bright and refreshing summer drink made with watermelon, cucumber, fresh lemon juice, and ice for a cool homemade pitcher everyone will love.

- 6 cups seedless watermelon, cubed
- 1 medium cucumber, peeled and sliced
- 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 cups cold water
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 cups ice cubes, plus more for serving if needed
Instructions
- Chill your serving glasses and gather the blender, fine-mesh strainer, and a large pitcher.
- Add the cubed watermelon, sliced cucumber, fresh lemon juice, cold water, maple syrup, and 2 cups of ice to the blender.
- Blend until smooth and fully combined.
- Place a fine-mesh strainer over a large pitcher.
- Pour the blended mixture through the strainer into the pitcher, pressing gently to extract as much liquid as possible.
- Stir well, then taste and adjust with a little more water for a lighter texture or a little more maple syrup for extra sweetness if needed.
- Serve over extra ice and enjoy immediately.
Notes
- Use ripe watermelon for the sweetest and most flavorful result.
- Fresh lemon juice gives the drink a brighter taste than bottled juice.
- For a smoother texture, do not skip straining.
