Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, mayonnaise, cheddar, garlic, and Worcestershire until smooth. Shape onto a serving plate. Chill while you make the glaze.
- In a saucepan, melt butter. Add brown sugar, Dijon, and cayenne. Stir until bubbly, about 2 minutes. Add pecans and stir to coat.
- Let glaze cool slightly. Pour over chilled cheese spread. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, increase cayenne to 1/2 teaspoon.
- Use toasted pecans for extra crunch and depth of flavor.
- Pairs well with buttery crackers, apple slices, or crostini.
- Make ahead by storing the cheese base and glaze separately, then combine just before serving.
