- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons garlic butter
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1/4 cup diced pickles
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain fat, then mix in salt, pepper, and onion powder. Let cool slightly.
- Stir in shredded cheese and diced pickles into the cooled beef mixture.
- On a floured surface, lay out puff pastry and gently roll to even thickness.
- Spread beef mixture evenly over pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Roll up tightly into a log, seam-side down. Slice into 1-inch pieces.
- Place on prepared baking sheet. Brush tops with egg wash.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Brush with garlic butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve warm.
