Description

Flaky, golden puff pastry spirals stuffed with seasoned ground beef, melted cheddar, pickles, and brushed with garlic butter for the ultimate cheeseburger-inspired snack or meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons garlic butter
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain fat, then mix in salt, pepper, and onion powder. Let cool slightly.
  3. Stir in shredded cheese and diced pickles into the cooled beef mixture.
  4. On a floured surface, lay out puff pastry and gently roll to even thickness.
  5. Spread beef mixture evenly over pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
  6. Roll up tightly into a log, seam-side down. Slice into 1-inch pieces.
  7. Place on prepared baking sheet. Brush tops with egg wash.
  8. Bake for 18–20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Brush with garlic butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Chill filling slightly before rolling to avoid soggy pastry.
  • Use parchment paper for easy cleanup and even baking.
  • Serve with ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce for dipping.
  • To reheat, use an oven or air fryer to maintain crispness.
