Description

Creamy garlic parmesan steak pasta with tender slices of seared steak and rich, flavorful sauce. A comforting and satisfying dish perfect for dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear steak for 3 to 4 minutes per side. Remove and let rest, then slice.
  4. In the same pan, melt butter and cook garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Add pasta and toss to coat in the sauce.
  8. Return sliced steak to the pan and mix gently.
  9. Serve topped with parsley and extra parmesan.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated parmesan for the best texture.
  • Let steak rest before slicing to keep it juicy.
  • Add pasta water if the sauce gets too thick.
  • Reheat gently with a splash of milk or cream.
