Description

Sticky, sweet, and spicy chicken coated in a glossy honey chili crisp glaze, perfect for quick dinners and bold flavor lovers.

Ingredients

  • Boneless skinless chicken thighs, 680 g or 1.5 pounds
  • Honey, 80 ml or 1 third cup
  • Chili crisp, 60 ml or 1 quarter cup
  • Soy sauce, 45 ml or 3 tablespoons
  • Garlic cloves, 4 cloves minced
  • Rice vinegar, 15 ml or 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil, 5 ml or 1 teaspoon
  • Neutral cooking oil, 15 ml or 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions, 2 stalks sliced

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the neutral cooking oil.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, chili crisp, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and minced garlic.
  3. Add the chicken thighs to the skillet in a single layer and lightly season with salt.
  4. Sear the chicken for 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.
  5. Lower the heat and pour the glaze into the skillet, turning the chicken to coat evenly.
  6. Simmer for 3 to 5 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with sliced green onions, and serve.

Notes

  • Reduce chili crisp for a milder version.
  • Add a splash of water if the sauce thickens too quickly.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity before serving.
