Ingredients
- Boneless skinless chicken thighs, 680 g or 1.5 pounds
- Honey, 80 ml or 1 third cup
- Chili crisp, 60 ml or 1 quarter cup
- Soy sauce, 45 ml or 3 tablespoons
- Garlic cloves, 4 cloves minced
- Rice vinegar, 15 ml or 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil, 5 ml or 1 teaspoon
- Neutral cooking oil, 15 ml or 1 tablespoon
- Green onions, 2 stalks sliced
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the neutral cooking oil.
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, chili crisp, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and minced garlic.
- Add the chicken thighs to the skillet in a single layer and lightly season with salt.
- Sear the chicken for 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.
- Lower the heat and pour the glaze into the skillet, turning the chicken to coat evenly.
- Simmer for 3 to 5 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
- Remove from heat, garnish with sliced green onions, and serve.
Notes
- Reduce chili crisp for a milder version.
- Add a splash of water if the sauce thickens too quickly.
