Description

A bright and refreshing green apple lemon tea made with green tea, crisp apple slices, fresh lemon, and a touch of honey. Perfect served warm or chilled over ice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 green tea bags
  • 1 medium green apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cups hot water

Instructions

  1. Heat 4 cups of water until just below boiling, then let it cool for about 1 minute.
  2. Place the green tea bags into a teapot or heatproof pitcher.
  3. Pour the hot water over the tea bags and steep for 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Remove the tea bags and add the thinly sliced green apple and lemon slices to the warm tea.
  5. Allow the fruit to infuse for 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in 1 to 2 tablespoons of honey until fully dissolved.
  7. Serve warm or let it cool and pour over ice before serving.

Notes

  • Do not over steep the green tea to avoid bitterness.
  • Use freshly sliced fruit for the best flavor.
  • Adjust honey according to your preferred sweetness level.
  • For iced tea, chill completely before adding ice to prevent dilution.
