Description

Grilled Barbecue Ranch Burgers combine smoky barbecue sauce, creamy ranch, juicy beef patties, and melty cheddar on toasted brioche buns for the ultimate backyard burger experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce (plus extra for topping)
  • 1/3 cup ranch dressing
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 brioche buns, split
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for toasting buns)

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and brush grates with oil.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce. Form into 4 patties and press a thumbprint in the center of each.
  3. Place patties on the grill and cook for 4–5 minutes per side. Brush with barbecue sauce during the last 2 minutes and top with cheese to melt.
  4. Toast brioche buns on the grill with butter until golden.
  5. Spread ranch dressing on the bottom buns. Layer with lettuce, tomato, onion, and burger patties. Drizzle with extra barbecue sauce.
  6. Cap with top buns and serve immediately with fries or grilled corn.

Notes

  • Use 80/20 ground beef for the juiciest burgers.
  • Don’t press down on patties while cooking—it squeezes out juices.
  • Cover grill briefly after adding cheese for the perfect melt.
