These homemade cheesy pizza pockets are golden, gooey, and filled with melty mozzarella and rich pizza sauce — a quick, crowd-pleasing snack or meal for any occasion.

- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (or pizza dough)
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll crescent dough and press seams together to form a sheet. Cut into even squares or rectangles.
- Place half of the dough pieces on the prepared sheet. Add a spoonful of sauce, some mozzarella, and a sprinkle of oregano to each.
- Top with remaining dough pieces. Seal edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with olive oil and bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving with extra dipping sauce.
Notes
- Don’t overfill to prevent bursting during baking.
- Use parchment paper for easy cleanup and nonstick baking.
- Try adding pepperoni, mushrooms, or veggies for variety.
