Description

These homemade cheesy pizza pockets are golden, gooey, and filled with melty mozzarella and rich pizza sauce — a quick, crowd-pleasing snack or meal for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (or pizza dough)
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll crescent dough and press seams together to form a sheet. Cut into even squares or rectangles.
  3. Place half of the dough pieces on the prepared sheet. Add a spoonful of sauce, some mozzarella, and a sprinkle of oregano to each.
  4. Top with remaining dough pieces. Seal edges with a fork.
  5. Brush the tops with olive oil and bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving with extra dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Don’t overfill to prevent bursting during baking.
  • Use parchment paper for easy cleanup and nonstick baking.
  • Try adding pepperoni, mushrooms, or veggies for variety.
