Description

A cozy and creamy maple hot latte that combines rich espresso with smooth steamed milk and real maple syrup, topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Perfect for chilly mornings or afternoon pick-me-ups.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 shots espresso or 1/2 cup strong coffee
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your mug by filling it with hot water, then discard the water before pouring in your latte.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine milk and maple syrup. Add vanilla extract if using.
  3. Warm the mixture over medium heat until hot but not boiling, stirring occasionally.
  4. Brew the espresso directly into your pre-warmed mug.
  5. Pour the steamed maple milk into the mug with espresso, holding back the foam.
  6. Froth the remaining milk using a frother or whisk, and spoon the foam on top.
  7. Sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use real maple syrup for the richest flavor.
  • Warm your mug beforehand to help your latte stay hot longer.
  • Oat milk or almond milk are great alternatives for a dairy-free version.
  • Make the maple milk mixture ahead of time and store it in the fridge for quick morning lattes.
