Ingredients
Scale

- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Pinch of ground cinnamon (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your mug by filling it with hot water, then discard the water before pouring in your latte.
- In a small saucepan, combine milk and maple syrup. Add vanilla extract if using.
- Warm the mixture over medium heat until hot but not boiling, stirring occasionally.
- Brew the espresso directly into your pre-warmed mug.
- Pour the steamed maple milk into the mug with espresso, holding back the foam.
- Froth the remaining milk using a frother or whisk, and spoon the foam on top.
- Sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use real maple syrup for the richest flavor.
- Warm your mug beforehand to help your latte stay hot longer.
- Oat milk or almond milk are great alternatives for a dairy-free version.
- Make the maple milk mixture ahead of time and store it in the fridge for quick morning lattes.
