Description

  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1½ cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • ½ cup pepperoni slices (optional)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce (warmed)
  • 6 burger buns (toasted)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (optional, for toasting buns)

Instructions

  1. Preheat skillet over medium heat. Toast buns in a toaster or oven until golden brown.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form into 6 equal patties. Lightly grease skillet or grill pan.
  4. Cook patties 4–5 minutes per side until cooked through.
  5. Top each with marinara sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni slices if using.
  6. Cover skillet or broil for 2 minutes until cheese melts.
  7. Butter buns if desired, then place patties on bottom bun and top with other half.
