- 250 grams pasta
- 3 large yellow onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cups vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
Instructions
- Heat butter and olive oil in a pot over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and cook slowly until caramelized.
- Add garlic and cook briefly.
- Pour in broth and add pasta.
- Simmer until pasta is tender.
- Stir in cream and cheese until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper, garnish with thyme, and serve.
