Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/2 cup cold milk of choice (oat, almond, or dairy)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 teaspoons maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • Handful of ice cubes
  • Orange slice for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Sift matcha powder into a small bowl and whisk with hot water until smooth and frothy.
  2. Fill a tall glass halfway with ice cubes.
  3. Pour orange juice into the glass first, followed by the milk and vanilla extract. Stir gently.
  4. Slowly pour the prepared matcha over the back of a spoon to float on top, forming layers.
