Description

A dreamy summer dessert featuring fluffy shaved ice, sweet peach syrup, and creamy condensed milk. Light, fruity, and irresistibly refreshing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe peaches, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 cups shaved ice

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine diced peaches, sugar, water, and vanilla. Simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes until peaches are soft.
  2. Blend the peach mixture into a smooth syrup and chill in the refrigerator.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream and sweetened condensed milk. Chill until ready to use.
  4. Shave the ice and layer it in a chilled serving bowl.
  5. Add spoonfuls of peach syrup and drizzles of cream mixture in between layers of shaved ice.
  6. Repeat the layering until the bowl is full.
  7. Top with extra cream and peach slices for garnish, then serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use very ripe peaches for the best flavor.
  • Freeze serving bowls to keep ice from melting too fast.
  • Prepare syrup and cream ahead of time and chill for optimal texture.
  • Extra syrup and cream can be used in smoothies, on pancakes, or stirred into yogurt.
