Description

Philly Cheesesteak Sliders are a party-perfect twist on the classic sandwich, made with tender beef, caramelized onions, peppers, and melty provolone layered inside soft slider rolls brushed with garlic butter.

Ingredients

  • Slider Rolls: 12 soft rolls
  • Ribeye Steak: 1 pound, thinly sliced
  • Green Bell Pepper: 1 medium, thinly sliced
  • Yellow Onion: 1 large, thinly sliced
  • Provolone Cheese: 8 slices
  • Butter: 4 tablespoons, melted
  • Garlic Powder: ½ teaspoon
  • Salt and Black Pepper: To taste
  • Olive Oil: 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Sauté onions and peppers until softened, then remove. Add beef, season, and cook until browned.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Slice rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom half in the baking dish.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Layer half the cheese, then beef, then onion-pepper mixture, followed by the rest of the cheese. Place the roll tops back on.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Mix melted butter with garlic powder and brush over rolls. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake 5 minutes more.
  6. Finishing Touches: Let sliders rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Serve warm with fries, chips, or salad.

Notes

  • Freeze steak slightly before slicing for paper-thin cuts.
  • Use Hawaiian rolls for a sweeter flavor.
  • Add mushrooms for an earthy twist.
  • Leftovers reheat best wrapped in foil in the oven.
