- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cups dry elbow pasta
- 3 cups beef broth
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a deep skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened. Stir in tomato paste, mustard, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in elbow pasta and beef broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover.
- Simmer for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
- Turn off heat. Stir in milk and shredded cheddar until sauce is creamy and smooth.
- Let sit for 2–3 minutes to thicken. Garnish with parsley if desired.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
