Description

This creamy and cheesy Stovetop Cheeseburger Pasta combines ground beef, cheddar, and tender pasta in one comforting, one-pot dish. It’s quick, hearty, and loaded with flavor—perfect for busy weeknights or cozy dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups dry elbow pasta
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a deep skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  2. Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened. Stir in tomato paste, mustard, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour in elbow pasta and beef broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover.
  4. Simmer for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  5. Turn off heat. Stir in milk and shredded cheddar until sauce is creamy and smooth.
  6. Let sit for 2–3 minutes to thicken. Garnish with parsley if desired.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use freshly shredded cheese for best melting.
  • Don’t overcook the pasta—check for doneness early.
  • Add a pinch of cayenne or hot sauce for extra heat.
  • Ground turkey or chicken can be used as a substitute.
