Description

Crispy baked sweet potato chips that are lightly seasoned, naturally sweet, and perfect for snacking or serving as a simple side.


Ingredients

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes (about 500 g), washed and peeled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the sweet potatoes thinly and evenly using a sharp knife or mandoline.
  3. Place the slices in a large bowl, add olive oil, sea salt, and paprika, then toss until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange the slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet without overlapping.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, flip the slices, then bake for another 10 to 15 minutes until crisp and lightly golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow the chips to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Slice the sweet potatoes evenly for consistent crispness.
  • Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet to prevent steaming.
