Ingredients

  • Boneless chicken thighs – 500 g
  • White rice – 1 ½ cups uncooked
  • Soy sauce – ⅓ cup
  • Brown sugar – ¼ cup
  • Honey – 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic – 3 cloves, minced
  • Fresh ginger – 1 tablespoon, grated
  • Vegetable oil – 1 tablespoon
  • Broccoli florets – 1 ½ cups
  • Carrots – 1 cup, sliced
  • Sesame seeds – 1 tablespoon


Instructions

  1. Cook the white rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, and ginger until well combined.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the chicken thighs and sear until golden on both sides.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chicken and let it simmer gently until thick and glossy.
  6. Add broccoli and carrots to the skillet and cook until just tender.
  7. Remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
