Description

This Thai Chili Beef Bowl is a bold, flavor-packed dish with spicy-sweet ground beef, fresh herbs, and a savory chili glaze served over fluffy jasmine rice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/3 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 red chili peppers, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 3 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together Thai sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, and fish sauce. Set aside.
  3. Add vegetable oil to the skillet. Sauté garlic and sliced red chili for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook, breaking it apart, until browned and slightly crispy, about 6–8 minutes.
  5. Pour in the sauce mixture and stir well to coat. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Stir in chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Toss to combine, then remove from heat.
  7. Serve the chili beef over warm jasmine rice and garnish as desired.

Notes

  • Use freshly cooked rice for best texture.
  • Adjust chili quantity to control spice level.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
