Description

A light, fresh, and protein-packed turkey salad lettuce wrap featuring diced turkey, crisp vegetables, and a creamy mustard-lemon dressing, all nestled in crunchy lettuce leaves.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, diced
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/3 cup carrot, grated
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 large lettuce leaves (romaine or butter)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the lettuce leaves, then set them aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced turkey, celery, red onion, bell pepper, carrot, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until all ingredients are evenly coated and well combined.
  4. Lay the lettuce leaves flat and spoon a generous amount of the turkey salad into the center of each leaf.
  5. Fold the sides of the lettuce slightly and roll them up like a wrap or serve open-faced.
  6. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Chill the turkey salad for 15–20 minutes before serving for enhanced flavor.
  • Use rotisserie turkey or chicken for convenience.
  • Store the turkey salad mix in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • For added crunch, sprinkle with chopped nuts or seeds before serving.
