Ingredients
Scale
- 2 jasmine tea bags or 2 teaspoons loose leaf jasmine tea
- 1½ cups water
- 2 tablespoons yuzu juice
- 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or simple syrup
- 1 to 1½ cups ice cubes
- Citrus slice (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Boil the water, then let it cool slightly before steeping the tea.
- Steep jasmine tea for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove tea bags or strain leaves.
- While tea is still warm, stir in honey or syrup until dissolved. Let cool or chill in the fridge.
- In a shaker or mason jar, add ice, yuzu juice, and cooled tea.
- Shake vigorously for 20–30 seconds until frothy and chilled.
- Pour into a tall glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a citrus slice if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
Notes
- Use hot, not boiling, water to avoid bitterness in jasmine tea.
- Shake well to create that signature foam layer.
- Chill the tea before shaking for best results.
- Substitute yuzu with lemon and grapefruit juice if needed.
