Description

This Yuzu Shaken Jasmine Iced Tea is light, citrusy, and refreshing. With fragrant jasmine tea, zesty yuzu juice, and a touch of honey, it’s shaken over ice for a frothy, energizing drink perfect for any time of day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 jasmine tea bags or 2 teaspoons loose leaf jasmine tea
  • 1½ cups water
  • 2 tablespoons yuzu juice
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or simple syrup
  • 1 to cups ice cubes
  • Citrus slice (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil the water, then let it cool slightly before steeping the tea.
  2. Steep jasmine tea for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove tea bags or strain leaves.
  3. While tea is still warm, stir in honey or syrup until dissolved. Let cool or chill in the fridge.
  4. In a shaker or mason jar, add ice, yuzu juice, and cooled tea.
  5. Shake vigorously for 20–30 seconds until frothy and chilled.
  6. Pour into a tall glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a citrus slice if desired.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use hot, not boiling, water to avoid bitterness in jasmine tea.
  • Shake well to create that signature foam layer.
  • Chill the tea before shaking for best results.
  • Substitute yuzu with lemon and grapefruit juice if needed.
