Description

Crispy golden air fryer mac and cheese bites with a creamy cheesy center, perfect for snacks, parties, or appetizer platters.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • Cooking spray


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F and lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and 1 egg until fully mixed.
  3. Line a tray or plate with parchment paper.
  4. Scoop small portions of the mixture and roll into bite-sized balls.
  5. Beat the remaining egg in a shallow bowl.
  6. Dip each bite into the egg, then coat completely with breadcrumbs.
  7. Arrange the bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  8. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray.
  9. Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  10. Cool slightly before serving with your favorite dipping sauce.
