Description

Rich fudgy brownies made with ripe bananas, crunchy walnuts, and chocolate chips for a moist and irresistible dessert.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 medium ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter and whisk with sugar.
  3. Add eggs, mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
  4. Stir in cocoa powder, flour and salt until combined.
  5. Fold in walnuts and chocolate chips.
  6. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 28 to 32 minutes.
  8. Cool completely before slicing.
  9. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor.
  • Toast walnuts for deeper nutty notes.
  • Do not overbake.
  • Allow brownies to cool before cutting.
