Description

Rich and crunchy dark chocolate skor bars with a buttery toffee layer that melts in your mouth.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until smooth and bubbling.
  3. Cook until the mixture turns deep golden.
  4. Pour into prepared pan and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot mixture and spread once melted.
  7. Add vanilla and salt, let cool, then cut into bars.

Notes

  • Allow full cooling before cutting
  • Store in airtight container
