Description

Buttery homemade toffee topped with melted chocolate and crunchy skor bits, perfect for gifting or snacking


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup skor bar bits


Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter, sugar, and salt over medium heat while stirring constantly.
  3. Cook until the mixture turns deep golden.
  4. Pour onto prepared baking sheet and spread evenly.
  5. Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot toffee and let melt, then spread smooth.
  6. Sprinkle skor bits on top and press gently.
  7. Cool completely, then break into pieces and serve.

Notes

  • Stir constantly to prevent burning
  • Use medium heat for best results
  • Allow full cooling for proper texture
