Description

Tender slices of beef coated in a rich honey soy glaze with garlic and ginger, finished with sesame seeds and green onions for a quick and flavorful dinner.


Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup low sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds


Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet.
  4. Add sliced beef in a single layer and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until browned.
  5. Pour the sauce into the skillet and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes until thickened and glossy.
  6. Top with green onions and sesame seeds.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
