Ingredients

  • 6 medium fresh plums, halved and pitted
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pistachios


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the honey, melted butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, lemon juice, and salt.
  3. Arrange the plum halves cut-side up in a single layer inside the baking dish.
  4. Drizzle the honey mixture evenly over the plums.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes until the plums are tender and bubbling.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle chopped pistachios over the top.
  7. Serve warm with yogurt, whipped cream, or vanilla ice cream if desired.
