Description
A crunchy, sweet and salty snack mix made with cereal, pretzels, peanuts, and chocolate toffee pieces coated in caramel.
Ingredients

- 4 cups cereal squares
- 2 cups pretzels
- 1 cup peanuts
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup chopped chocolate toffee bars
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 250°F and line a baking sheet.
- Mix cereal squares, pretzels, and peanuts in a bowl.
- Melt butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup in a saucepan.
- Remove from heat, add vanilla and baking soda, then pour over mixture.
- Spread onto baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven, cool slightly, then mix in chopped chocolate toffee bars.
- Cool completely before serving.
Notes
- Stir regularly during baking for even coating
- Add chocolate after baking to prevent melting
- Store in airtight container for freshness
