Description
A fizzy, creamy soda shop style drink made with chilled Dr Pepper, vanilla syrup, heavy cream, ice, and optional whipped cream with a cherry on top.

- 1 cup chilled Dr Pepper
- 2 tablespoons cold heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 2 tablespoons whipped cream, optional
- 1 maraschino cherry, optional
Instructions
- Chill a tall 16-ounce glass for 5 minutes if you want an extra cold drink.
- In a small cup, stir together the cold heavy cream and vanilla syrup until smooth.
- Fill the tall glass with 1 cup of ice cubes.
- Pour the chilled Dr Pepper slowly over the ice.
- Drizzle the vanilla cream mixture gently over the soda and let it swirl naturally.
- Stir once lightly if you want a more blended drink.
- Top with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry if using, then serve immediately.
Notes
- Use cold soda and cold cream for the smoothest texture.
- Pour slowly so the soda does not foam over the glass.
- Serve right away while the drink is still fizzy.
- For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
