Description
A quick and satisfying toast with a perfectly cooked egg in the center, crispy outside and soft inside.
Ingredients

- 2 slices bread (thick cut)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 pinch dried herbs
Instructions
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Crack eggs into small bowls.
- Add butter to the pan and let it melt.
- Cut a hole in each bread slice and place in pan, pour eggs into holes.
- Cook 3 to 4 minutes until golden, flip and cook 2 more minutes.
- Season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use thick bread for best results
- Cook on medium heat
- Fresh eggs improve texture
