Description

Flaky croissant roll-ups filled with mozzarella, cheddar, and fresh herbs, baked until golden brown and perfectly melty.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated croissant dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine mozzarella, cheddar, parsley, chives, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Unroll croissant dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Add a portion of the cheese mixture to each triangle and roll tightly.
  5. Arrange on the baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool for 5 minutes and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use freshly shredded cheese for best melting.
  • Do not overfill the dough.
  • Store leftovers refrigerated for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in the oven for best texture.
